Events

The Gala and other special events invest in FASNY's future and allows the School to finance mission-driven innovations such as STEAM/STEM projects, professional development for teachers, and invest in projects that accelerate the learning experience of FASNY students.

The Gala is the largest fundraising event held annually at the school. It is an evening of dining, dancing, and celebration of our shared values. Each year an honoree who aligns with the mission of the School is recognized at the event. The Gala offers our community an opportunity to come together and support the School through the purchase of tickets and donated auction items. Corporations and businesses also support the event, through sponsorship and donations of auction items.

The Gala is organized by our community volunteers and Gala co-chairs, who bring the mission of our school to life. Purchases of tickets, items, or services at the Gala do not count towards a donation to the Fund for FASNY, and the amount of the purchases is not fully tax-deductible.

During the Gala, funds are also raised to support the Olivia Tucker Scholarship Fund for Financial Aid. Amounts donated to the Olivia Tucker Scholarship Fund at the Gala are 100% tax-deductible because they are not used to purchase a ticket, an item, or a service.
