Two Programs, One Mindset
Students at our private school in Westchester County, NY, are offered the opportunity to participate in either the French-American Program or the International Program, which begins in grade 1. Regardless of program choice, at FASNY, the innovative approach is the same, based on values of respect, empathy, and positivity, centered on learning, continuous progress, and the well-being of students. The school culture is based on a critical mindset and development for each and everyone: what is learning? How do we progress? How do we develop academically and personally at school? These are the questions to which the faculty and staff in place give meaning as the pedagogical approaches are thoughtful, age-appropriate, organized, and focused on academic excellence and student development.
At FASNY, the learner profiles invite students to get involved in flagship projects; to create their own clubs supported by the School and parents, to develop their skills, their autonomy, their sense of initiative, and teamwork: art, science, mathematics, robotics, IT, business, environment, architecture, sports, philosophy, language, journalism, literature, study trips, solidarity and philanthropy, tutoring...all projects are an integral part of schooling and the development of each FASNY student.
